Possibly not son of John. of Epworth and Nottingham. Married St.Mary's Church, Nottingham by Archdeacon Welles on 30 April 1598. Lived at Epworth in the Isle of Axholm, Lincs. Under the Plantation of Ulster, offered himself as an undertaker of land in ONeilland, Co. Armagh. Granted middle proportion of Doughcoron by patent from James I, 29 May 1610
